Subject: Great--poor resolution notwithstanding
I agree that the resolution is poor, but, although this movie has been remade many, many times, this is still my favorite movie. Garson and Olivier are so good. There have been several good Elizabeths, but I don't think Olivier's Darcy has ever been surpassed. Also, the dance scene (at the assembly ball) that is one long take is very impressive. Watch for it.

The resolution in this is horrible, but it's still watchable. Visual details fall apart though. It's like a .jpg zoomed in about 20 times..
